I have been a licensed Ohio attorney for ten years this month, having graduated from the University of Akron School of Law summa cum laude in 2005 (bio). Since then, I have worked with thousands of individuals, primarily with labor and employment issues, criminal defense, and family law. However, my practice areas are broader than those as I also provide personal injury, wills and trusts, small business, contract negotiation and litigation, and other services.

To be honest, even though I have created several web pages and shared legal information through social media outlets such as facebook and twitter, this is the beginning of a blogger experience.

I expect the blog to grow and expand from my initial goal of providing resources and insight based on the legal areas in which I practice, whether that be case notes about new DUI appeals decisions, news of unemployment rates and legislation, union labor law issues, or updates and trivia about the other areas I practice. Furthermore, I expect to reach beyond those legal resources and also share observations and anecdotes of the experiences of a lawyer's life and the people served.
